Abstract
As 2022 comes to an end, we are grateful for all lessons learned and meaningful contributions that the DFI Journal has received to advance our state of knowledge in deep foundation engineering. We have once again enjoyed a wide variety of papers pertaining to construction and analysis techniques, new methodologies and applications, construction and projects taken to new heights, and research pushed to help our industry to move forward in more reliable, high-performing, and sustainable directions. This issue includes papers of DFI’s 2022 paper competitions including winning and runner up papers, papers generated as part of DFI’s technical committee projects, and excellent research and case study contributions from across the geo-disciplines (e.g., geo-environmental, geo-structural, geo-technological).
